Tom's motivating story of how he overcame the problems and pressures of growing up to become a top American distance runner is truly inspirational. His self-proclaimed attitude that he isn't talented, "just a really hard-worker," says it all. From winning the Nevada State High School 2-Mile Championship to being All-American in college to running international cross country and track meets, Tom has done it all. A two-time Olympic Trials Qualifier, Tom has run very fast times of 13:35 and 28:19 for 5,000 and 10,000 meters respectively. Tom is now a real estate broker in California.
